Job summary

SBS Transit Limited in Singapore invites a motivated student to assist in building and deploying ML/AI models, processing data into KPI-ready formats, and designing dashboards for business units.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Math/Engineering, familiarity with Python libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, PyTorch), HTML5 and JavaScript, and strong communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or related fields.
• Familiar with Python syntax and libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, PyTorch).
• Familiar with HTML5, JavaScript, and APIs.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data processing and reporting.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical information to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Train and deploy ML/AI/DS models on selected problems including NLP, CV, unsupervised anomaly detection on sequential/time series data using Python libraries.
• Develop and deploy workflows or scripts to process data from its raw form into its context-specific format suitable for consumption by Business Units, including KPI tracking and use within dashboards.
• Design, develop and deploy front-end dashboards using HTML5, React.js or other suitable libraries.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to understand issues with the data and how to mitigate these issues.
• Document work done for future enhancements and business continuity.

• Develop and deploy workflows or scripts to process data from its raw form into its context specific format suitable for consumption by Business Units, including KPI tracking and use within dashboards.

• Design, develop and deploy front-end dashboards using HTML5, React.js or other suitable libraries.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related fields.

• Familiarity with Python syntax and libraries including pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, pytorch etc.

• Familiarity with HTML5, Javascript, API calls etc.

• Driven and able to work independently.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in data processing and reporting.

• Effective communication skills to present technical information to diverse stakeholders.
