Overview
We are seeking a Data Management Consultant to support data management operations within our data warehouse and data mart portfolio. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data analysis, reconciliation, and quality management, with strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support daily data management operations for data warehouse and data mart projects.
- Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Execute and monitor data quality checks in accordance with established SLAs, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Manage data issue tracking and troubleshooting, coordinating with relevant teams to identify root causes and implement fixes.
- Write, optimize, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and validation tasks.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate data workflows, system enhancements, and integration results.
- Manage service-level agreements (SLAs) and respond to queries from end users, ensuring timely support and resolution.
- Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation, including specifications, process flows, and operational reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data operations tasks.
- Apply investment data domain knowledge to ensure accurate interpretation, processing, and reporting of financial datasets.
- Continuously assess operational efficiency and propose improvements to enhance data integrity and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Singapore Citizen (mandatory).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of data management experience.
- Proven experience in data warehouse or data mart operations.
- Strong background in data analysis, data reconciliation, and quality management within SLA timelines.
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Experience in UAT execution and coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to manage data-related incidents and provide end-user query support.
- Strong documentation and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Good understanding of investment data domain concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and logical thinking abilities.
Good to Have
- Working knowledge of Snowflake.
- Experience with Denodo.
