Job summary

A government agency managing land resources is seeking a candidate to drive data governance initiatives and implement data policies. The ideal candidate will have a degree related to data and 3 to 5 years of experience in data governance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. This role involves stakeholder engagement to assess data sensitivity and contribute to the organization’s data security efforts in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in data governance, data security, and data standards.
• Knowledge of personal data protection requirements is an advantage.
• Understanding of ICT-related initiatives and data policies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive data governance initiatives, and formulate and implement data policies.
• Review and formulate data management and security policies.
• Engage stakeholders to assess data sensitivity and strengthen security posture.
• Manage and respond to data incidents.
• Plan and implement capacity development and outreach programmes.
