Job summary

A healthcare laboratory in Singapore is seeking a diligent data entry clerk. The role involves accurately entering patient information and assisting in administrative tasks. Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience in a call centre, preferably in healthcare, and possess strong typing and communication skills. A minimum qualification of GCE N & O-Level is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent attention to detail. This position includes working 5.5 days a week with overtime opportunities.

Job Description
  • To perform data entry, entering client accounts, patient demographic information & order laboratory tests completely and accurately into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
  • Recognize and correct inaccurate or missing information on the laboratory requisitions
  • Filling and archiving of documents.
  • Assist in printing department, sorting and distributing laboratory reports on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Any other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned.
  • Ensuring smooth daily operation.
Job Requirements
  • Willing to work 5.5 days (Mon-Sat) work week, overtime and rotating shift schedule
  • Minimum GCE N & O-Level with at least 1 year of relevant call centre work experience, preferably in healthcare industry.
  • Good typing skills and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and positive learning and working attitude
  • Fluent in written & spoken English is a must
  • Computer literate, Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Hardworking, responsible, multitask and meticulous attention to detail
  • Cooperative, able to work well with colleagues and superiors.
  • Team player & supportive of the operational needs
  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to do a typing skills test.
Work Schedule

Monday to Friday: 10.15 am to 6.45 pm

Saturday: 11.00 am to 3.30 pm

Occasional Sunday work or late weekday shifts may be required as specified below.

Overtime or shift allowance will be given in such situations.

Adhoc Schedule

Sundays: - 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Weekdays - 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. - 1-hour dinner break

Start time subject to change accordingly to operational needs.
