Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Entry Executive with prior experience in ship chandling or marine supply operations. The role focuses on accurate data entry, order processing, and administrative support for daily vessel supply activities, with opportunities to learn purchasing functions.

Responsibilities

  • Enter sales orders, purchase orders, delivery orders, job sheets, and quotations accurately to support vessel supply operations
  • Prepare and process vessel supply documentation to ensure timely and correct order fulfillment
  • Manage phone calls and email enquiries from suppliers and the operations team to facilitate smooth communication
  • Support Purchasing and Operations Teams by assisting with daily workflow tasks and coordination
  • Track outstanding orders and update delivery status to maintain accurate order progress records
  • Scan and file supplier invoices and delivery documents to maintain organized records
  • Maintain proper records in both softcopy and hardcopy formats for easy retrieval and compliance
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support team and operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in ship chandling, marine supply, or logistics operations
  • Familiarity with vessel orders, purchase orders (PO), delivery orders (DO), and basic documentation processes
  • Proficiency in using Excel and basic office systems to perform data entry and document management
  • Detail-oriented approach to handle fast-paced operations accurately and efficiently
