Job summary

eTeam Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer to manage a team responsible for BAU operations, production support, and platform stability in a cloud-first environment.

You will drive architectural decisions using AWS services and Snowflake, focusing on scalable data solutions and data security compliance. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of data engineering experience, strong coding activity, and a proven track record with data lakes/warehouses and modern ETL tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM field.
• Minimum 8+ years of data engineer experience with senior/lead responsibilities.
• 5+ years actively coding as a Lead handling support & production issues.
• Experience with large datasets and data lake/data warehouse technologies (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data engineers in BAU operations, production support, incident management, and platform stability.
• Design optimized AWS architectures (S3, Glue, DMS, MWAA) and data platforms.
• Work with Snowflake architecture and data management processes.
• Mentor and guide a team of data professionals to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless data solution integration and security compliance.
