Job summary

Sea is seeking a data professional to deliver end-to-end data solutions across Garena, Shopee, and Monee. You will collect data from diverse sources, design scalable ETL pipelines, and build AI-enabled data workflows that drive reporting and insights. Collaboration with platform engineers will embed AI features in our data fabric.

The role emphasizes data quality, governance and learning new technologies, with ownership and teamwork across a dynamic HQ Finance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, analytics, math or engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a data-related role.
• Deep understanding of SQL and Python.
• Experience with PySpark is preferred.
• Hands-on AI-enabled data solutions, automation or prototyping.
• Strong communication and teamwork with ownership mindset.

About the Team:

You will be part of Sea’s HQ Finance department, which plays an integral role in supporting the accounting and finance needs of our three core businesses (Garena, Shopee, Monee) and across our diverse regional market presence. Within the department, the Group Data function builds and maintains scalable data infrastructure through data ingestion, transformation, and warehousing via robust ETL pipelines, while also developing web-based tools that enable efficient access and interaction with data systems to support accurate reporting and analysis. You will be involved in the establishment of end-to-end data initiatives, from designing data models, developing ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation and modelling to the development of applications, automation and AI-enabled solutions that allow users to interact with and derive greater value from Finance data.

• Integrate AI capabilities into existing data solutions and workflows, turning underlying data infrastructure into practical AI-enabled solutions for users
• Support data quality and governance, ensuring that data, scripts and documentation meet relevant compliance requirements and establishment of future innovation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant full-time working experience in a Data related role
• Deep understanding of SQL and Python are required
• Experience with PySpark is preferred
• Hands‑on experience in AI-enabled data solutions, automation, or prototyping
• Passionate about programming and new technologies in the field
• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, works effectively in teams, and shows a high level of ownership as a self-learner
