Job summary

Deloitte Singapore is seeking a data engineer to design, develop and deploy scalable data pipelines and data warehouses. You will extract, clean and transform data, integrate silos and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven products.

Qualifications

• Has 4-6 years of data engineering experience.
• Proficient in data cleaning and transformation (SQL, pandas, R).
• Proficient in building ETL pipelines (SSIS, AWS DMS, Python, AWS Lambda, ECS, EventBridge, AWS Glue, Spring).
• Proficient in database design and multiple databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS S3, Athena, MongoDB, etc).
• Experience with cloud technologies AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy data tables, views and marts in data warehouses, lakes and data virtualization.
• Perform data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and flow; web scraping may be involved.
• Build and maintain large-scale data pipelines (batch/real-time) with processing frameworks.
• Integrate data silos in scalable, compliant ways.
• Collaborate with PMs, Data Architects, Analysts, Developers to build data-driven products.
• Develop backend APIs and support databases for applications.
• Work in Agile CI/CD environment; engage in pair programming and code reviews.
