Job summary

GOOD JOB CREATIONS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a data engineer to ingest, standardize, and maintain global equity datasets from multiple vendors.

You will structure data for quantitative research, factor modeling, and portfolio construction, and support corporate actions systems. Collaborate with portfolio managers, researchers, and engineers to define data requirements; manage ticker mappings across brokers and venues; ensure data quality through validation, monitoring, and anomaly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Python and SQL in data engineering contexts.
• Proficiency with Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation.
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow or Luigi.
• Knowledge of financial data vendors and reference/pricing datasets.
• Strong understanding of global equity markets across regions.
• Experience with corporate actions data and market identifiers is advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of global equity markets across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
• Solid understanding of market microstructure and security identifiers (e.g., ISIN, CUSIP, SEDOL, RIC, Bloomberg Ticker).
• Background in data engineering or quantitative data operations within financial institutions is advantageous.
