Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking a Data Engineer to build scalable data pipelines and manage data stores in AWS. The role involves ETL design, data analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders to improve data quality and enable predictive insights.

You will work with Pentaho, Informatica, RedShift, and Tableau to transform raw data into actionable information for business decisions. 1+ year in SQL/Data engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven SQL experience and data analysis skills.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Pentaho Data Integration (KETTLE) or Informatica.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines (ETL) to process large data volumes in AWS (Informatica, Pentaho).
• Organise and maintain data stores (e.g., RedShift, RDS) for structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and opportunities for data acquisition and improvement.
• Analyze raw data, interpret trends, and prepare data for modeling (prescriptive/predictive).
• Ensure data quality and reliability across data sources and systems.
• Report findings and work with data analysts as needed.
