Job summary

Sciente International Pte Ltd is seeking a mid-level Analytics Engineer / Data Engineer to support data platform development and modernization in Singapore. The role requires strong SQL, Python, data modelling, and orchestration skills with dbt and Airflow.

You will work on building dimensional models, data marts, and reusable business logic, while ensuring robust data pipelines and CI/CD practices are followed.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant Data/Analytics Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on SQL and good Python knowledge.
• Experience in dimensional data modelling and data marts.
• Hands-on experience with dbt or equivalent transformation frameworks.
• Experience with Airflow or equivalent orchestration tools.
• Understanding of semantic layers and business metrics.
• Knowledge of Git, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT and data warehouse concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot data and pipeline issues independently.
