Job summary

PHAIDON INTERNATIONAL (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a data engineer to design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across multiple systems.

You will optimize SQL queries, data models and database structures while building automation scripts in Python, Java or TypeScript. You will implement API integrations, automate workflows and develop Power BI dashboards. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 4–5 years hands-on experience in data engineering or related technical roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Java or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and integration across systems.
• Build and optimise SQL queries, data models and database structures.
• Develop applications and automation scripts using Python, Java, or TypeScript.
• Implement API integrations and automated workflows between internal and external platforms.
• Develop dashboards and data visualisations using Power BI or related tools.
• Work with Azure and Databricks for scalable data processing and analytics.
• Participate in design, development, testing and deployment of data engineering solutions.
• Explore AI-enabled capabilities including predictive analytics and LLM-based solutions.
• Integrate third-party SaaS platforms and enterprise apps with existing environments.
• Apply software engineering best practices: Git, CI/CD, testing, documentation, performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and pipeline bottlenecks.
