Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Singapore-based data team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing datasets, building and maintaining data pipelines, and supporting business and analytics stakeholders to ensure high-quality, accessible, and reliable data delivery across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain datasets and data pipelines to support business operations and analytics initiatives.
• Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Collaborate closely with the Data & Analytics Program Management Office and key stakeholders to co-design the Enterprise Data Strategy and Common Data Model.
• Contribute to the implementation and promotion of the organization’s Data Platform, driving the adoption of transformative data processes and services.
• Develop scalable and efficient data pipelines and data structures to support Data Scientists and Analysts.
• Conduct testing, validation, and optimization of data solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and are production-ready.

Requirements

• Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data platform development, or analytics engineering.
• Proven experience in designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows.
• Strong understanding of SQL, data modeling, and data architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms or tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Data Factory, DBT, etc.) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Scala.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting enterprise-scale data strategies or governance initiatives is preferred.
