Job summary

AvePoint, a global leader in data management and governance, seeks a Data Engineer to analyze data needs, document requirements, and design scalable analytics solutions. You will migrate data collection processes, build data pipelines, and develop tests to ensure quality and reliability.

The ideal candidate brings strong SQL, Python, PySpark, Linux, and experience with BI tools. Proficiency with Tableau or SAP BO and knowledge of Hive/Impala/Cloudera Data Platform are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with waterfall or Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on DevOps deployment experience.
• Experience with Denodo is preferred.
• Proficiency with SAP BO and Tableau.
• Experience with Hive, Impala, and Cloudera Data Platform.
• Expertise in Python, PySpark, Linux, and ETL tools like Informatica.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling/analytics.
• Knowledge of analytics and data warehouse implementations.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Experience in high-availability, high-performance systems in data centers or hybrid cloud.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong SQL skills and experience in data modeling and analysis.

• Experience in high-availability, high-performance systems hosted in data centers or hybrid cloud environments is a plus.
