Job summary

HMI TECH PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines for enterprise-scale systems.

You will work with Informatica PowerCenter, Python, Spark, Hive, and SQL across Oracle/Teradata/SQL Server environments. Responsibilities include performance tuning, production support, creating design documents, and collaborating with BAs, QA, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with ETL/Data Warehousing concepts and large-scale data platforms.
• Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter, SQL across Oracle/Teradata/SQL Server, Python, Spark.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and production support.
• Unix shell scripting and data integration best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Develop data pipelines using Python, Spark, Hive, and HDFS.
• Perform ETL/ELT from multiple source systems.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for Oracle, Teradata, or SQL Server.
• Prepare design documents, mappings, and data flow documentation.
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Coordinate with BAs, QA, and stakeholders through the project lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
• Support production deployments and incident resolution.

• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) from multiple source systems.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for Oracle, Teradata, or SQL Server databases.
• Prepare technical design documents, mapping specifications, and data flow documentation.
• Perform performance tuning, trouble shooting, and production support.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile/Scrumceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
• Support production deployments and incident resolution.
