Momcozy in Singapore is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain reliable data pipelines, models, and data products that turn raw data into clean, tested datasets for analytics and applications. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/DS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data warehousing.
• Strong SQL skills and building data pipelines with Python.
• Understanding of data warehouse modeling, incremental processing, orchestration, and data quality.
• Strong problem solving, code quality, and documentation practices.
• Legally authorized to work in Singapore; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines and models for analytics and applications.
• Own data cleansing, standardization, incremental processing, reconciliation, and dataset publishing.
• Write automated tests and data quality rules, and monitor timeliness, completeness, and accuracy.
• Partner with business, analytics, product, and engineering teams to understand data needs and definitions.
• Participate in code reviews, releases, production troubleshooting, backfills, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain technical documentation, data contracts, and operational runbooks.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to build and maintain reliable data pipelines, models, and data products. This role exists to turn raw data into clear, tested, and sustainable datasets that serve analytics and applications. You will work with platform, analytics, and business teams to deliver trustworthy data assets and grow your expertise in a fast-paced global environment.

Who You'll Work With

• Reports to: Regional Tech Lead or Senior Data Engineer
• Collaborates with: Data platform team, analytics teams, business stakeholders, and engineering teams
• Team context: Growing data team; learning and growth opportunities; cross-time-zone collaboration with China HQ

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines and models for analytics and applications
• Own data cleansing, standardization, incremental processing, reconciliation, and dataset publishing
• Write automated tests and data quality rules, and monitor timeliness, completeness, and accuracy
• Partner with business, analytics, product, and engineering teams to understand data needs and establish clear definitions
• Participate in code reviews, releases, production troubleshooting, backfills, and continuous improvement
• Maintain technical documentation, data contracts, and operational runbooks

Requirements

Must-Have

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data warehousing, or equivalent practical expertise
• Strong SQL skills and the ability to build and maintain data pipelines using Python
• Understanding of data warehouse modeling, incremental processing, orchestration, and data quality
• Strong problem-solving, code quality, and documentation practices
• Legally authorized to work in Singapore; this role does not provide visa sponsorship

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Databricks, Spark, dbt, Airflow, or comparable technologies
• Experience with commerce, advertising, order, user, or consumer data
• Experience with cloud data platforms or distributed teams

Language

• Professional working proficiency in English (CEFR B2 or above)
• Mandarin Chinese is advantageous for collaboration with China HQ, but not required
