Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of physical data center infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform the installation, replacement, and troubleshooting of hardware components, cables, and related systems.

• Manage and secure data-bearing devices (e.g., hard drives, SSDs) in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.
• Ensure proper tracking, storage, and disposal of sensitive data to maintain data integrity and security.

• Respond to and resolve issues within a ticket-based environment, adhering to established SLAs and operational protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to elevate and address complex issues efficiently.

• Maintain accurate records of equipment installations, replacements, and troubleshooting activities.
• Provide detailed reports on recurring issues and suggest process improvements to enhance data center performance.

• Follow all safety and operational guidelines to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Support efforts to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient data center environment.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of physical IT infrastructure, including cabling, hardware, and data-bearing devices.
• Experience with ticketing systems and familiarity with ITIL processes is a plus.
