Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for system troubleshooting, conducting preventive maintenance, and coordinating contractors at various operational sites. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in system maintenance and be comfortable with rotating shifts, including weekends. Job description

💰 Salary: Basic UP$3000 + Allowance
📍 Location: East or South Singapore
🕐 Work Schedule: Shift-based, must be flexible and able to work outdoors and on standby

Responsibilities
  • Attend promptly to ad-hoc breakdowns, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems and equipment at various operational and remote sites.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors during maintenance or repair works in compliance with established safety and maintenance procedures.
  • Perform Duty Technical Officer (DTO) role on a rotational basis, ensuring smooth operations at assigned centres or sites.
  • Conduct routine checks, inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and availability.
  • Manage maintenance contracts and monitor contractors’ performance, ensuring all maintenance activities and expenditures are properly tracked.
  • Prepare and review maintenance reports, system checklists, and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors for project coordination, maintenance planning, and technical support.
  • Assist in procurement activities, including obtaining quotations for spare parts, equipment, and maintenance services.
  • Maintain an updated record of systems, including failure data, service logs, and technical documentation.
  • Support system upgrades, replacements, and commissioning works.
  • Respond to ad-hoc user requests for installations, relocations, re-wiring, or modifications of system components.
  • Be on standby for urgent jobs and system-related emergencies (including weekends and public holidays), responding within the required timeframe.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards, including cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
