Job summary

ENGIE Southeast Asia is seeking a trained professional to manage fire protection systems in mission-critical data centre facilities in Singapore. The role covers operation, maintenance, testing and inspection to ensure reliability, compliance, and readiness to protect personnel and assets.

You will coordinate with vendors and authorities on works, audits and system upgrades, while supporting investigations and incident response.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in fire protection systems, facilities management or data centres.
• Experience in operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of fire protection systems.
• Knowledge of local codes, standards and regulatory requirements related to fire protection systems is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Wet-Pipe and Pre-Action Sprinkler Systems and Fire Alarm Systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation, maintenance, testing and inspection of fire protection systems within data centre facilities.
• Ensure reliability, compliance and readiness to safeguard personnel, assets and continuity.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and authorities on works, audits and upgrades.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions for fire-related events.
• Lead commissioning, RI inspections, integrated testing and cause‑and‑effect verification with contractors.
