Data Centre Civil Engineer — Project Coordination

Job summary

ENGIE Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of civil and structural works for data centre design and build projects.

You will work with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure works are on schedule, within budget, and compliant with project specifications and safety standards. Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
• Experience in data centre, industrial, commercial, or large-scale building projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager & Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising civil and structural works on site.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction documents for compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve site and technical issues.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works follow approved drawings, schedule, and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and other project documentation.
• Ensure coordination between civil, structural, architectural, M&E, and other trades.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Support material planning, delivery coordination, and site resource tracking.
• Assist in reviewing subcontractor claims, variations, and progress measurements.
