Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and hands‑on Data Center Project Manager to oversee end‑to‑end construction, cabling, and infrastructure delivery across multiple IDC (Internet Data Center) sites within the region. This role requires strong on‑site project management capability, coordination with regional TPMs, and collaboration with local operations teams to ensure timely, high‑quality project completion.

You will manage the full lifecycle of IDC deployment projects—site surveys, Data Centre oversight, network construction, cabinet installation, cabling works, acceptance checks, and on‑site support. The role includes regional exposure and structured onboarding training.

Key Responsibilities

IDC Construction & Infrastructure Management

Lead on‑site management of end‑to‑end IDC module construction, network build‑out, cabinet installation, removal, and miscellaneous cabling works.

Oversee infrastructure renovation and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Conduct project site surveys, plan logistics, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.

Project Coordination & Delivery

Work closely with regional TPMs (APAC-1) and local operations/maintenance teams to align project requirements and delivery milestones.

Monitor project progress across Data Centre, mechanical, electrical, and network workstreams; provide timely feedback and risk updates.

Ensure all project phases—from planning to acceptance—are completed according to specifications and compliance requirements.

On‑Site Supervision

Manage day‑to‑day on‑site activities, including contractor supervision, cabling integration, and physical infrastructure deployment.

Provide hands‑on support during critical phases of construction or cutover.

Ensure safety, documentation accuracy, and operational readiness at the data center site.

Work Schedule & Regional Coverage

Primary working schedule: Shift work.

Responsible for construction management across all designated data center sites in Singapore. Collaborate with senior TPMs and the IDC Construction Team to deliver regional IDC infrastructure projects after training.

Requirements

Technical / Professional Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or related field. Experience in data center operations, construction coordination, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure deployment is highly preferred. Strong understanding of network cabling, rack/cabinet setup, and data center facility components is an advantage.

Soft Skills

• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem‑solving ability with a proactive and hands‑on approach.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and manage multiple contractors/vendors.
• Detail‑oriented with strong project execution discipline.

Other Requirements

• Able to work occasional overtime during project peaks or emergencies.
