Job Description
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Data Center Logistics Executive to join our Infrastructure & Data Center (IDC) team.
The role involves managing computer assets and peripherals within the data center warehouse, ensuring smooth operations and accurate asset tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and unpack IT equipment and peripherals; verify shipments and update inventory systems.
- Prepare computer kits for deployment and ensure timely distribution across teams.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including barcoding, monthly stock reporting, and electronic delivery logs.
- Use asset management tools (e.g., barcode scanners, Excel trackers) to perform regular inventory checks and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors on asset movement, logistics schedules, and equipment lifecycle management.
- Identify and report defective goods, support basic troubleshooting, and assist with replacement coordination.
- Maintain a detailed and accurate log of all items shipped, received, or relocated.
- Support asset lifecycle initiatives, system enhancements, and workflow improvement projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the efficiency of the Asset Management and Data Center Operations teams.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or IT-related disciplines.
- Prior experience in warehousing, logistics operations, or IT asset management preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with inventory management systems
- Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting data center or IT infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
- Candidates who have led or contributed to process improvement initiatives are highly valued.
