Job summary

Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited seeks interns pursuing technical degrees to support design reviews for scalable fiber optic and copper cabling in new data centers. You will collaborate with ICT engineering, server hardware, and EHS teams to ensure compliant designs and reliable services.

You will gain hands-on experience in cabling standards, construction drawings, and submittal documentation while contributing to cross-regional projects under experienced mentors.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in a technical field.
• Study area includes Electrical, Telecommunications or Computer/Network Engineering.
• Knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optic and/or copper communications systems preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Singapore.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design and equipment submittal review for scalable fiber optic & copper plant in new Data Centers.
• Review ICT design, materials and equipment submittals.
• Identify and respond to risks and high-priority connectivity issues.
• Support new tech/design initiatives to improve processes, quality, cost, and installation time.
• Interface with data center design engineering, server hardware, and EHS teams to maintain standards.
• Work on concurrent projects across multiple regions.
