Premier Inn Hotels LLC (UAE) is seeking a Data Centre Design & Infrastructure Strategy Engineer to define and drive the design, expansion, and modernization strategy across more than 30 global facilities in 12 countries.

You will set design standards, evaluate site feasibility, and model costed investment options, bridging network architecture with physical data center facilities. Strong collaboration with colocation providers, cabling vendors and engineering consultants is essential.

Qualifications

• Substantial DC design, engineering, or infrastructure strategy experience.
• Experience in multi-site regional roles or network architecture pivot into DC strategy.
• Knowledge of UPS, PDU, CRAC/AHU, and power distribution.

Responsabilités

• Define design standards for data center classification, rack specs, power density, and cabling.
• Conduct site feasibility assessments for power/cooling capacity and footprint.
• Develop costed expansion proposals covering CapEx, OpEx, and recurring costs.
• Direct in-rack placement, cabling media, redundancy, and pod vs legacy architectures.
• Negotiate with colocation providers and manage cabling vendors and consultants.
