Job summary

ACCESSTECH ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a proactive Commissioning Lead to develop and implement commissioning plans for mechanical and electrical systems in data-center environments. You will coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure site readiness and testing logistics.

Responsibilities include leading FAT/SAT/QAT, documenting results, producing punch lists, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in software/hardware testing, preferably in a data center environment.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, commissioning procedures, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in using relevant testing tools, software, and documentation systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in commissioning.
• Prior experience in data center or mission-critical environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Fresh graduates or engineers from construction-related fields are welcome, provided they demonstrate strong interest in commissioning and mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commissioning plans for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and internal teams on readiness and testing logistics.
• Lead FAT, QAT, SAT, and performance testing to meet project specs.
• Monitor milestones, maintain status logs, chair weekly meetings, and issue detailed reports.
• Identify and resolve commissioning-related issues with stakeholders.
• Consolidate and validate test results; manage documentation like test scripts and handover docs.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of HVAC, power distribution, and system controls; familiarity with PQAs and oscilloscopes is a plus.
• Draft testing, operating, and commissioning procedures; review RFIs for proper integration.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and site safety protocols.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.
