Job summary

Infineon Technologies Singapore is inviting a Working Student to join the Data Science, Data Engineering & AI team. You will build ETL pipelines, write SQL queries and explore REST APIs in real systems. The role guides you toward data engineering, backend development, or AI engineering with hands-on projects.

You will gain experience in data modeling, relational databases, Docker basics, and Linux shell usage while collaborating within an engineering delivery process.

Qualifications

• Educational background in CS/DS/SE or related field.
• Ability to write Python scripts and basic SQL queries.
• Familiar with Git basics: clone, commit, branch, push.
• Curiosity about data engineering and AI tools; eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• ETL/ELT Development: write and test Python ETL scripts and SQL queries from various sources.
• Data Quality & Monitoring: assist with data quality validation and pipeline monitoring.
• API & Database Integration: support REST API usage and persisting data to databases.
• Engineering Practices (Git): follow Git workflows and team standards.
• AI-Assisted Automation Prototyping: prototype AI-assisted automation using LLM APIs.
