Job summary

Visa Hunt in Singapore is seeking AWS Data Architects / Engineers to design and build a cloud-native data platform and Data Lake/Lakehouse environment for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.

You will design AWS Data Lake/Lakehouse architecture, data landing, transformation and consumption layers to support scalable, secure data workflows and governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services including S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, Kinesis and Lake Formation.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or Scala.
• Experience designing and implementing Data Lake or Lakehouse architectures.
• Good understanding of data governance, data cataloguing and metadata management.
• Experience with batch and streaming data processing.
• AWS Data Engineer or AWS Solutions Architect certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS Data Lake / Lakehouse architecture including landing, transformation and consumption layers.
• Develop scalable data ingestion pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge and API Gateway.
• Build batch and streaming data processing workflows using AWS data services.

• Implement data security, access controls and governance using AWS Lake Formation, IAM and Secrets Manager.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot data issues and improve platform reliability.

We are looking for AWS Data Architects / Engineers to support the development of a cloud-native data platform and Data Lake/Lakehouse environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable data infrastructure that supports analytics, reporting and AI/ML initiatives.

Preferred

• Experience integrating data with Tableau or other BI tools.
• Exposure to AWS SageMaker / MLOps / AI/ML deployment.
• Experience with Salesforce integration via AWS AppFlow.
• Knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC) and incremental data loading.
• Public sector or large-scale enterprise data environment experience.
