Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; CS/Data Analytics/Statistics preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Inquisitive mindset with ability to question, probe, and analyse data.
• Resourcefulness and ability to work independently in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and develop new compliance tools and initiatives.
• Prepare and analyse data, and develop analytics models to understand taxpayer segments, predict behaviours, detect fraud and non-compliance, and develop intervention measures for GST compliance.
• Leverage Large Language Models-based tools to build AI products for use in the division's operations and compliance work through prototyping, experimentation, and iterative improvement.
• Develop interactive dashboards that support reporting and performance monitoring.
• Provide basic training on the application of analytical tools to end-user officers.
• Facilitate data sharing with internal and external stakeholders, working closely to understand and fulfil data requirements, and adhering to the data governance framework.
• Review and operationalise data policies and procedures to comply with relevant guidelines and frameworks.
