DESCRIPTION
The Data Analyst is responsible for the development, maintenance and automation of PowerBI reports in alignment with business needs and service level requirements.
MAIN OBJECTIVES
- Develop & Maintain PowerBI Reports: Develop PowerBI reports in line with business needs and service level requirements, including design aesthetic, data accuracy & timeliness. Maintain and update existing PowerBI reports and Power Automate flows to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Test and debug reports; review and analyze data to ensure accuracy.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve data or flow-related problems in a timely manner. Document common issues and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Documentation: Prepare technical documentation for any newly developed or updated reports to detail the data sources and logic applied
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Program Lead to understand PowerBI requirements and updates. Adjust prioritisation and approach when needed
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures on PowerBI support services.
COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI essential, Power Automate is a plus)
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and learn new technologies quickly.
- Proficient with HTML/CSS.
- Excellent knowledge of database management best practices.
- Good understanding of analytical tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem-solving with an enterprise mindset and approach.
