Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain robust data models, reports and dashboards to provide insights to and enable fact-based decision-making for stakeholders, including the Senior Management Team and Board
  • Collate data to effectively track performance KPIs in real time, and manage visualization using Power BI, Excel reports or other platforms/tools
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions
  • Prepare summary statistics, tabulations, and graphical representations of data to support the Company’s business strategy
  • Design and maintain the proper formatting and reporting of data in compliance with applicable business and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Continuously seek improvement opportunities in operating efficiency by automating data extraction
  • Continuously explore new data sources and analytical techniques to enhance the Company's data capabilities
  • Provide training and support to other team members to build data literacy across the Company where necessary
  • Support cross-organizational activities by creating and sharing reports, dashboards, etc, with internal teams
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, IT, or a related field
  • Min 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
  • Exposure to re/insurance industry and/or working knowledge of NGIN will be a definite advantage
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualisation tools such as SQL, Python, and Tableau
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Effective communicator who can clearly articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
