This role is an individual contributor responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of analytics projects, demanding the ability to perform analysis directly for the client. The candidate will have extensive knowledge in digital and database marketing operations of large brands, particularly in using data and analytics to contribute to day‑to‑day operations.

Data Analyst

Responsibilities
  • Understand the business model and ask relevant questions to clarify objectives.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and participate in regular sync‑up calls.
  • Follow the campaign roadmap, plan data availability and coordinate with the campaign execution team for a successful launch.
  • Enhance and optimize existing SQL queries for data optimization.
  • Set up data pipelines to migrate data from one platform to another.
  • Create Power BI dashboards based on stakeholder requirements and priorities.
  • Prescribe suitable solutions while understanding toolset limitations and data availability.
  • Procure data from various sources and perform data audits.
  • Fetch and analyze campaign data from disparate sources to provide meaningful insights on customer behavior.
  • Visualize campaign performance and recommend business rules for effective targeting.
  • Interpret analytical results, present key findings, and recommend next steps to clients.
  • Develop tangible analytical projects and communicate details to clients and the delivery team through written documents and presentations.
  • Audit deliverables to ensure accuracy by critically examining data and reports against requirements.
  • Collaborate on regional/global analytic initiatives and localize inputs for country‑specific campaign practices.
  • Optimize audience targeting insights, campaigns, and governance processes.
Eligibility Requirements
Must Have
  • Very strong advanced SQL skills for analysis and optimization.
  • Minimum 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills; ability to derive insights from large reports.
  • Comfortable working autonomously with broad guidelines.
  • Passion for data and analytics in marketing and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, aligning teams to timelines.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Experience with campaign tracking, test‑and‑learn recommendations for performance improvement.
  • Manage regular reporting and ad‑hoc data extracts from other departments.
  • Experience with Google Sheets/Excel.
Good to Have
  • Working knowledge of analytical/statistical techniques.
  • Experience in Hadoop environments – Hive, Presto.
  • Experience with Python / Airflow.
  • Previous consulting experience.
