in Singapore is seeking a Data Governance Manager to lead enterprise data governance initiatives, strengthen data management capabilities, and drive regulatory compliance across the organization. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and technology teams to translate business requirements into governance frameworks, oversee client engagements and mentor a growing data governance team.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Accounting, Business Management or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5-10 years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, technology consulting or risk advisory.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data governance frameworks, data quality management, data lineage and metadata management.
• Familiarity with data governance and metadata platforms such as Informatica, Collibra, IBM or Ab Initio.
• Good knowledge of data privacy, regulatory compliance and information management standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing client engagements, leading project teams and delivering complex initiatives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and recommendations to senior business stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Data Governance Framework & Policy Development: Develop, implement and maintain enterprise data governance frameworks, policies and standards.
• Data Governance & Policy Development: Establish data quality management processes, including data validation, monitoring, issue resolution and remediation.
• Data Governance & Policy Development: Drive initiatives to improve data integrity, consistency, accessibility and reliability across the organization.
• Data Strategy & Transformation: Lead data governance and data management initiatives, translating business requirements into practical technology solutions and architecture blueprints.
• Data Strategy & Transformation: Identify opportunities to strengthen data management capabilities and support business transformation objectives.
• Data Strategy & Transformation: Provide strategic recommendations on data governance practices, operating models and implementation approaches.
• Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business leaders, IT stakeholders, data architects and senior management to address complex data governance challenges.
• Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management: Lead client discussions and facilitate root cause analysis to identify and resolve data quality and management issues.
• Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management: Manage client engagements, project deliverables and multiple workstreams to ensure successful execution.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach and mentor team members, providing guidance on project delivery and professional development.
• Team Leadership & Development: Oversee engagement teams and ensure the quality, timeliness and consistency of client deliverables.

Data Governance Manager

About the Role

An international firm is looking for an experienced Data Governance Manager to drive enterprise data governance initiatives and support clients in strengthening their data management capabilities.

In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of data governance strategies, establish robust data management frameworks, and oversee client engagements to enhance data quality, integrity, security and regulatory compliance.

You will work closely with senior business stakeholders, technology teams and clients to translate business needs into effective data solutions, while leading and developing a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Governance Framework & Policy Development
   • Develop, implement and maintain enterprise data governance frameworks, policies and standards.
   • Establish data quality management processes, including data validation, monitoring, issue resolution and remediation.
