Job summary

PLATFORM&CO PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Data & AI Engineering Manager to lead data governance, a modern cloud data platform, BI, and AI initiatives. You will shape data strategy, set governance standards, and drive scalable analytics across functions.

You will own data pipelines, analytics environment, and governance policies, mentor teams, and report KPIs to senior management. Strong leadership and expertise in data architecture and AI governance are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, BI, or AI with leadership exposure.
• Strong experience in AI/Data Governance and data architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, data security, privacy, access controls and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI and Data Governance, including data quality, lineage, metadata, privacy, security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Own and evolve the organisation's modern cloud data architecture, data pipelines, analytics platform, and BI environment.
• Establish engineering standards across data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, monitoring, CI/CD, and production releases.
• Identify and deliver AI and analytics use cases across multiple business functions.
• Develop scalable data models, semantic layers, dashboards, and governed self-service analytics.
• Drive data literacy and adoption through training, documentation, and enablement.
• Track platform, governance, and AI/analytics KPIs and provide updates to senior management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, BI, or AI, with 3+ years in a leadership or technical lead role.
• Strong experience in AI/Data Governance
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data engineering, BI, semantic modelling, and system integration.
• Experience with CI/CD, data security, privacy, access controls, and compliance.
