Job Title: Pre-Sales Engineer (Palo Alto Networks)
Overview:
We are seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer specializing in Palo Alto Networks solutions to support our cybersecurity product portfolio. The successful candidate will play a key role in engaging with partners and end-customers, providing technical expertise, solution design, and demonstrations to drive successful sales outcomes. This position involves close collaboration with the sales team, vendors, and channel partners to promote Palo Alto products and deliver value-driven security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical pre-sales support for Palo Alto Networks products, including firewalls, Panorama, and endpoint security solutions.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design tailored security solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for partners and end-users.
- Deliver technical enablement and training sessions for channel partners to strengthen product knowledge and sales capability.
- Assist in tender and proposal preparation, including solution architecture, bill of materials (BOM), and technical documentation.
- Liaise with Palo Alto Networks vendor teams on solution validation, updates, and partner enablement programs.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product features to provide strategic technical guidance.
- Support marketing and partner engagement initiatives, such as workshops, webinars, and product showcases.
- Collaborate with the post-sales team to ensure a smooth handover and successful implementation of proposed solutions.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in pre-sales, solution design, or network security roles.
- Hands-on knowledge of Palo Alto Networks technologies is essential.
- Relevant certifications such as PCNSE / PCNSA will be highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, firewall concepts, VPNs, and security policies.
- Experience with Fortinet, Check Point, or other security solutions is an added advantage.
