About the Role

The Cybersecurity Manager – Identity & Access Management (IAM) will lead and drive IAM initiatives across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding the organization’s digital identity ecosystem, ensuring alignment with global cybersecurity strategies, and managing risk in a multi-country environment.

You will work closely with regional business units, IT teams, and external partners to design and implement robust IAM strategies, enhance access governance, and promote a culture of security awareness across the region. The position requires both strong technical acumen and excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identity & Access Management Strategy
    • Execute a comprehensive IAM program to ensure appropriate identity and access controls across infrastructure and applications.
    • Establish and continuously improve the IAM Management and Governance Framework for all group companies.
    • Provide regular updates and reporting on IAM program status to IT stakeholders.
    • Manage IAM-related incidents and events, ensuring timely response and resolution.
    • Oversee IAM projects and provide expert guidance for other IT initiatives.
    • Identify and manage IAM-related risks, define risk treatment plans, and communicate residual risks to stakeholders.
    • Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and least-privilege principles.
  • Project Planning & Execution
    • Develop and manage project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure IAM initiatives align with business goals.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Drive automation, standardization, and integration of IAM processes across systems.
    • Collaborate with IT, HR, Legal, and other functions to strengthen IAM governance.
  • Communication & Reporting
    • Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executives.
    • Provide timely updates, progress reports, and performance metrics.
    • Support internal and external audit and compliance activities.
    • Address issues proactively, transparently, and constructively.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of regional IT experience, with at least 5 years specializing in Identity & Access Management.
  • Strong understanding of IAM technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Hands‑on experience managing Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Solid grasp of IAM protocols and standards such as SAML, OAuth, and LDAP.
  • Proven track record in project management and execution of IAM or cybersecurity projects.
  • Broad IT knowledge across platforms, applications, networks, and tools.
  • Able to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Composed and solution‑oriented under pressure, particularly during incident response.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills across diverse, multicultural teams.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable working in a matrix organization.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying current with emerging IAM and cybersecurity trends.
