Job summary

NCS is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant responsible for designing, deploying, testing, and documenting security solutions with a Security by Design focus. The role covers deploying SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, TIPs, DAM, and cloud security across AWS and Azure environments, using Terraform and other IaC tools to automate security infrastructure.

The engineer will conduct various security tests and perform system hardening to safeguard systems against vulnerabilities and will hand over security controls

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering/consulting with hands-on SIEM/SOAR deployments.
• Strong AWS/Azure security expertise and Terraform automation experience.
• Proven experience conducting security testing, threat modelling and system hardening.

Responsibilities

• Security by Design: integrate security into all stages of system design and development.
• Implementation & Automation: deploy SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, and cloud security solutions; automate with Terraform.
• Testing & Hardening: perform SSAT, OSAT, IAT, UAT and enforce secure configurations.
• Documentation & Handover: create security controls docs and provide ops handover.
• Log Management & Monitoring: centralize security events and monitor cloud environments.
