Job summary

The Cybersecurity Engineer helps to develop, maintain and implement the security policy to protect the digital assets and data for the company. He/she will perform the investigation of any security incidents promptly.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct relevant awareness training/survey/quizzes on security, protocols and procedure and providing helpful references;
  • Conduct IT security risk assessment; identify exploitable weakness and implement resolution to secure our infrastructure and applications to protect the digital assets and data;
  • Manage vulnerability assessment, penetration testing and security audit;
  • Responsible for maintaining and implementing security framework, policies, processes/procedures and guidelines;
  • Monitoring and detecting software and system for intrusion or irregular behavior and abnormalities; isolates, blocks and removes unauthorized access;
  • Respond immediately to security incidents, escalate, investigate and mitigate; and provide post-incident analysis report;
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest security vulnerabilities, research and recommend mitigation measures
REQUIREMENTS
  • A recognized diploma/degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related Field
  • Professional certification related to IT security preferred
  • At least 1 year experience in IT Security role
  • Good knowledge on security frameworks (e.g ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity framework), risk management methodologies and latest top 10 OWASP vulnerabilities
  • Good knowledge of patch management, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, web security, end user security and secured network protocols
  • Strong team player
