Job Description & Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver cybersecurity technical services to new and existing customers
• Implement, configure and optimize cloud-based security solutions including:
  • Cloud Web Application Firewall (WAF) with DDoS Protection (Akamai WAF)
  • Cloud Recursive DNS (Akamai Edge DNS)
  • Cloud DNS with DDoS Protection (Akamai Edge DNS)
  • Cloud Network Security L3/L4 with DDoS Protection (Akamai Prolexic)
  • Micro-Segmentation Solutions (Akamai Guardicore Segmentation)
• Build and deliver custom security demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POC) and Proof of Value (POV) for customers
• Conduct product presentations, technical workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions for customers
• Troubleshoot and support cybersecurity incidents, including WAF, DNS, micro‑segmentation, and DDoS‑related issues
• Assist in developing security best practices, documentation, and architecture designs for customer environments
• Work closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex security challenges

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in cybersecurity implementation, security operations, or infrastructure security
• Familiarity with cloud security technologies such as WAF, DNS security, DDoS mitigation, and segmentation solutions
• Hands‑on experience with Akamai security platforms is an added advantage
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous, self‑driven, and able to work independently under pressure
• Good understanding of current cybersecurity trends, attack vectors and defensive technologies
• Candidates without prior experience but with strong interest in cybersecurity are welcome to apply

Working Hours

9:00am to 6:00pm (Mondays to Fridays)
