Job summary

Kerry Consulting is seeking a technically strong cybersecurity professional to join our security team in Singapore. The role focuses on practical assessment of security controls across cloud, infrastructure, endpoints and identity, with increasing use of AI, scripting and automation to scale assurance activities.

You will perform technical assessments, review configurations, test control effectiveness, and translate findings into clear risk observations for Technology and senior stakeholders,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, technical assurance or related fields.
• Strong understanding of cloud and enterprise security controls across multiple cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies (SIEM/SOAR, EDR/NDR, IAM/PAM).
• Ability to assess control effectiveness beyond policy reviews.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001).
• Experience using Python, scripting or automation to improve security processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical assessments of security controls across cloud, infrastructure, endpoints and enterprise security platforms.
• Review cloud environments and configurations to identify weaknesses, control gaps and misconfigurations.
• Assess effectiveness of technologies such as SIEM/SOAR, EDR/NDR, WAF, SASE, CSPM and threat intel platforms.
• Review controls across IAM, privileged access, endpoint security and remote-access/Zero Trust environments.
• Assess architectures and security implementations against recognised standards and industry practices.
• Perform practical control testing through configuration reviews, log analysis and policy reviews.
• Use AI and automation to improve evidence collection, assessment and reporting.
• Translate findings into risk observations and recommendations for tech and senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure and Security teams to remediate weaknesses.
