SGCM Pte Ltd | Sgcarmart is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to protect IT infrastructure, networks, and data. You will design security solutions, conduct assessments, monitor threats, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The role involves updating policies, managing security tools, and collaborating with IT teams to embed security into deployment. Strong communication and cloud security experience are valued.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as Cyber Security Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and infrastructure.
• Proficiency with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
• Understanding of cryptography and secure coding practices.
• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS frameworks.
• Ability to perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+) are desirable.
• Experience with cloud security and incident response is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement cyber security solutions and frameworks.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents; respond and investigate.
• Update security policies and documentation.
• Manage security tools and platforms (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
• Collaborate with IT to integrate security into architecture.
• Provide security awareness training to staff.
• Keep up with emerging cyber threats and trends.
• Respond to incidents including containment and remediation.
