Job summary

JOBSTER PRIVATE LTD. is seeking a Cyber Platform Engineer to manage the operational administration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of cybersecurity platforms across CII sites.

Responsibilities include firewall upkeep, EDR, DMS, and PAM governance with a focus on security policy compliance and change management. The role involves onsite maintenance, asset onboarding/offboarding, log reviews, audits support, and producing maintenance reports per Board requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly preventive maintenance of all onsite perimeter firewalls at all sites.
• Conduct quarterly log and account reviews to ensure policy compliance.
• Patching and CVE remediation within defined timelines (Critical 45 days; High/Medium 60 days; Low 90 days).
• Annual firewall configuration reviews and hardware/software inventories.
• Onsite maintenance including replacement of faulty devices and cables.
• Configure firewall rules, signatures, and CVE patches; log backup and device cabling tasks.
• Assist security assessments and audits related to firewall infrastructure.
• Ensure firewall operations comply with cybersecurity policies; raise change requests.
• Maintain and operate Carbon Black EDR on RHEL 8 including patches and health checks.
• Monitor sensors, troubleshoot deployment status, and support onboarding of new endpoints.
• Coordinate with OEM for advanced troubleshooting and vendor support.
• Provide onboarding/offboarding management for DMS and perform documentation updates.
• Manage SSL certificate renewals and site maintenance pages for DMS.
• Review and optimize DMS rules with vendor and PUB SOC team.
• Continuously monitor DMS effectiveness every six months.
