Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced cybersecurity operations professional in Singapore to manage enterprise platforms and security controls. The role focuses on firewall, EDR, DDoS/WAF, and privileged access management.

You will perform system health checks, patches, vulnerability remediation, and incident response while maintaining documentation, SOPs, and asset inventories to support audits and change management.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain enterprise cybersecurity platforms (Palo Alto Firewalls, Carbon Black EDR, Cloudflare DDoS/WAF, CyberArk PAM).
• Perform system health checks, patching, firmware upgrades, vulnerability remediation, configuration changes, and troubleshooting.
• Manage firewall policies, routing, NAT, security rules, log reviews, and configuration backup/restoration.
• Monitor EDR servers and endpoint sensors; support onboarding, troubleshooting, recovery, and platform health.
• Administer DDoS/WAF services, SSL certificates, website onboarding/offboarding, and user access reviews.
• Manage privileged accounts and access through CyberArk PAM, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Support cybersecurity incidents, audits, security assessments, backup/restoration, and change management processes.
• Maintain SOPs, technical documentation, maintenance reports, asset inventories, and security tracking records.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain enterprise cybersecurity platforms, including Palo Alto Firewalls, Carbon Black EDR, Cloudflare DDoS/WAF, and CyberArk PAM.
• Perform system health checks, patching, firmware upgrades, vulnerability remediation, configuration changes, and troubleshooting.
• Manage firewall policies, routing, NAT, security rules, log reviews, and configuration backup/restoration.
• Monitor EDR servers and endpoint sensors, supporting endpoint onboarding, troubleshooting, recovery, and platform health.
• Administer DDoS/WAF services, SSL certificates, website onboarding/offboarding, and user access reviews.
• Manage privileged accounts and access through CyberArk PAM, including onboarding, offboarding, and access governance.
• Support cybersecurity incidents, audits, security assessments, backup/restoration activities, and change management processes.
• Maintain SOPs, technical documentation, maintenance reports, asset inventories, and security tracking records.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity operations, security engineering, or platform support.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking and network security, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, NAT, DNS, network segmentation, and firewall troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls or equivalent next-generation firewall platforms.
• Experience with Carbon Black EDR or equivalent endpoint detection and response solutions.
• Experience with Cloudflare DDoS/WAF or equivalent web and network security platforms.
• Experience administering CyberArk PAM or equivalent privileged access management solutions.
• Good understanding of vulnerability management, security hardening, patch management, change management, and cybersecurity incident response.
• Exposure to air-gapped or restricted network environments, PKI, and TLS/SSL certificate lifecycle management would be advantageous.
