Job summary

ITSEC SERVICES ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cyber OT / IIoT CyberSecurity Consultant to help clients secure ICS, OT, IIoT and SCADA environments.

You will conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, audits and cybersecurity evaluations, identifying attack vectors and providing actionable recommendations aligned with ISA/IEC62443, NIST CSF and CCOP standards. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years in IT/OT cybersecurity, strong knowledge of OT/ICS/SCADA architectures, and hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Engineering, CS or IT.
• 3–5 years of IT/OT cybersecurity experience.
• Strong knowledge of OT systems, ICS/SCADA (SCADA, DCS, PLC) and security challenges.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and compliance, including ISA/IEC62443, NIST CSF, and IT/OT best practices.
• Hands-on knowledge of endpoint security, network security, intrusion detection, and access control.
• Relevant certifications are advantageous: OSCP, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM; OT certifications GICSP, GRID, IEC62443.
• Strong consulting aptitude, including managing oneself, projects, and clients.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; able to present clearly and effectively.
• Interpersonal and teamwork skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, audit and cybersecurity evaluations for ICS, OT, IIoT, SCADA, on‑prem IT and cloud environments.
• Analyze complex systems including network architecture, controls configuration, OT/IIoT devices, and cloud deployments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Identify, assess, and communicate cybersecurity risks and attack vectors that could disrupt operations or safety.
• Apply knowledge of OT/ICS/SCADA to deliver contextually relevant security recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients to gather information, clarify requirements, and manage expectations during engagements.
• Develop actionable security recommendations and improvement plans balancing cybersecurity with operational needs.
• Review system and network architectures against ISA/IEC62443, NIST CSF, and CCOP.
• Participate in project teams under guidance of experienced consultants; contribute to high-quality deliverables.
• Work with SMEs to deliver penetration testing, red teaming, and advanced security assessments.

Job Responsibilities

As a Cyber OT / IIoT Security Consultant at ITSEC, you will help critical industries secure their operational technology and IIoT environments by:

• Conducting risk assessments, threat modeling, audit and cybersecurity evaluations for industrial control systems (ICS), OT, IIoT, SCADA, on-prem IT, and cloud environments.
• Analysing complex systems—including network architecture, controls configuration, OT/IIoT devices, and cloud deployments to develop a comprehensive understanding of operations and potential vulnerabilities.
• Identifying, assessing, and communicating cybersecurity risks, including potential attack vectors that could disrupt operations or compromise safety.
• Applying strong knowledge of OT systems, ICs, and SCADA environments to provide contextually relevant security recommendations.
• Collaborating with clients to gather information, clarify requirements, and manage expectations throughout engagements.
• Developing actionable security recommendations and improvement plans that balance cybersecurity needs with operational constraints.
• Reviewing system and network architectures and assessing OT/IT practices against regulatory and industry standards, including ISA/IEC62443, NIST CSF, and CCOP.
• Participating in project teams under the guidance of experienced consultants and contributing to high-quality deliverables.
• Working alongside subject matter experts to deliver integrated solutions, including penetration testing, red teaming, and advanced security assessments for critical infrastructure operators.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess
