Job summary

Singapore Public Service seeks a Lecturer in Cyber & Network Security at ITE College East for a 2-year contract. You will design and deliver course materials, supervise student projects and engage in industry consultancy to keep skills current.

You will mentor students, participate in outreach, and contribute to research activities to support lifelong learning and professional development.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Security.
• Passion for teaching and student development.
• Knowledge in networking concepts (routers, switches, wireless access points).
• Operating systems such as Windows Servers, Linux, Mac.
• Security concepts such as firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, SIEM, IAM, web/app security.
• Experience with virtualization platforms is valued.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver course materials in On-Premise and Cloud Networking, System Administration, IT Security, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, Penetration Testing & Operations and Programming.
• Facilitate e-learning, enrichment and other self-directed learning.
• Supervise students in project works, competitions, and internships.
• Handle academic-related duties and administration.
• Be involved in student development, outreach programmes and mentoring.
• Engage in relevant research activities for lifelong professional development.
