Job summary

VikConnect Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a experienced cybersecurity exercise facilitator to evaluate organizational readiness through seminars, workshops, and tabletop exercises. The role requires at least 3 years in conducting cyber readiness activities, strong facilitation, communication and analytical skills, and knowledge of incident response and cyber threats.

CISSP/CISM is a plus. The successful candidate will work with stakeholders and external consultants to design and run exercise

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant technical experience in cybersecurity exercises and evaluations.
• Knowledge of incident response and cyber threat concepts.
• Industry certifications like CISSP or CISM are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Seek budget and procurement approval for cybersecurity exercises.
• Plans exercise schedule and logistics.
• Develop and review evaluation methodologies for exercises and identify cyber risks.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to design threat scenarios and execute planned exercises.
• Supervise external consultants’ work to ensure objectives are met; prepare reports.

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant technical experience in conducting seminars/workshops, tabletop (TTX), functional and full-scale exercises and test concepts used to evaluate organizational efficacies, staff skill levels, operational and security risks;
• Good understanding of information technology, cyber security operations, incident response methodologies and security controls, including knowledge of cyber threats and attack vectors and the consequences of cyber-attacks.
• Industry standard certification a plus (i.e. CISSP, CISM, etc)

Major Activities

• Seek budget and procurement approval for cybersecurity exercises;
• Plans exercise schedule;
• Develop and review evaluation methodology for cyber exercises and work with stakeholders to identify cyber risks, design threat scenarios, identify key participants and execute the exercise against the planned scenarios;
• Supervises external consultants’ work to ensure that exercise objectives and outcomes are achieved;
• Co-ordinates and supports the conduct of exercises and prepares reports.
