Customer Service Specialist (Manufacturing)

ThispositionisaccountableforcontributingtheefficiencyandeffectiveOrder-To Cash(OTC)process,ensuringcustomersatisfactionwhileadheringtostandardoperatingprocedures(SOP)andguidelines,supportingcustomerserviceteamperformanceandcontinuousimprovement.

Job Responsibilities
  • Providing reference pricing from SAP and issuing SAP quotations to support the sales team effectively and efficiently pricing to customers.
  • Handling customer inquiries with a focus on delivering professional customer support and resolving customer issues.
  • Order Processing: Coordinating with the production planning team from different Heraeus Electronics production sites to ensure customer-requested delivery dates are met within standard lead times.
  • Managing and monitoring customer consignment stock and planning stock replenishment to maintain consignment inventory levels within targeted KPIs.
  • Processing and monitoring precious metal hedging prices with the internal trading company in SAP and confirming the precise hedged prices in sales order confirmations or pro forma invoices to customers.
  • Monitoring and ensuring that confirmed sales orders are shipped on time and providing shipping pre-alerts to customers.
  • Requesting and submitting new customer numbers through the master data governance tool (SAP Business Client 7.70).
  • Coordinating new material number releases and raising Engineering Change Request (ECR) for new/change Customer and Packing checklist, and new/change customer Part Number on label.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Ad-Hoc Tasks: Involvement in local site and HET global necessary measures such as IATF and ISO certification and HET commercial excellence initiatives.
  • Taking up ad-hoc tasks as and when required by the Supervisor.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in any fields.
  • At least 3 years of customer service and SAP experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP Order-To-Cash (OTC) process.
  • Team collaboration includes working effectively with other functions.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
  • 1 year contract and convertible to permanent after 1 year.
