Position: Customer Service Officer / Executive
S$3,600 – $3,800/month
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm / Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm / 5.5 days/week
Experience Required
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in customer service or logistics-related roles
 
Core Responsibilities in Logistics Customer Service
Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding logistics services
- Address inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide timely updates on shipments and inventory
 
- Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
 
 
Order & Shipment Coordination
- Process customer orders and ensure accurate documentation
 
- Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders for booking and dispatch
 
- Monitor shipment schedules and delivery timelines to ensure on-time performance
 
Inventory & Warehouse Oversight
- Track inventory levels and ensure stock availability for customer orders
 
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to manage inbound and outbound logistics
 
- Generate inventory and performance reports for internal and customer review
 
Internal Coordination
- Liaise with operations, warehouse, and transport teams to execute customer requirements
 
- Ensure alignment between customer expectations and internal capabilities
 
- Escalate and resolve operational issues that may impact service delivery
 
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare shipping instructions, invoices, and customs documentation
 
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies
 
- Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting purposes
 
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery accuracy, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction
 
- Provide regular updates and reports to management and clients
 
- Suggest process improvements based on customer feedback and performance data
 
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 
Skills and Qualification
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Excel
 
- Knowledge of supply chain operations and documentation
 
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
 
- Experience in 3PL, freight forwarding, or warehouse operations is a plus
 
- Prior supervisory or managerial experience is beneficial
 
- Educational background: Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Inventory Management, or Customer Relationship Management
