Job summary

A consumer electronics company in Singapore is seeking a customer service representative to manage queries and assist with product issues. Candidates with an O-Level qualification and some customer service experience are preferred. Candidates with technical knowledge of electrical appliances are also welcome. The role is based in Bedok and offers a 1-year renewable contract with benefits and overtime opportunities.

Job description
About Company:

Our client is responsible for the sales and marketing of consumer electronics and home appliances in Singapore.

Job Description:
  • Attend to customers, handle queries from the Service Hotline and emails.
  • Respond and resolve customers’ queries related to products, spare parts, service schemes and schedule service appointments.
  • Liaise and coordinate with authorized Service Contractors, in house technicians etc. to resolve issues arising from customers.
  • Perform simple troubleshooting to identify the issue to ensure that customers are attended to effectively.
  • To conduct weekly and annual parts stock count.
  • Retrieve and deliver spare part to Customer Care Counter.
  • Perform front counter duties including but not limited to spare parts sales over walk in, bring in repair, repair collection and redemption.
Job Requirements:
  • At least a O-Level academic qualification.
  • Having some customer service and/or call center or similar working experience.
  • Those with technical knowledge of electrical or electronic appliances but no experience in customer service are welcome to apply.
  • Customer service-oriented, excellent communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
  • Possess basic computer skills.
  • Good stamina and good personality and customer-oriented.
  • Excellent time management skills, able to prioritize work, attention to details and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage customers’ expectations.
  • Willing to work overtime when required.
Compensation:
  • Work location: Bedok, Singapore
  • Within walking distance from Bedok MRT Station
  • Working hours: Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm), Saturday (9am - 2pm)
  • OT occasionally (max 2 hours per day)
  • 1 year renewable contract
