Job summary

A leading visual arts institution in Singapore is seeking a customer-focused individual to manage team performance and ensure excellent service delivery. The role encompasses developing work rosters, setting performance goals, and overseeing daily operations, including ticket sales for gallery events. Ideal candidates have experience in tourism or art institutions and possess strong communication skills. This is a 1-Year contract with a gross pay up to $3600.

Qualifications

  • Prior working experience in tourism, art institutions, or customer service is preferred.
  • Service-oriented with a focus on customer centricity.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, administer, and maintain work roster.
  • Ensure staff provides excellent customer service.
  • Manage a team and conduct performance goal setting.
  • Handle sales transactions for gallery admission events.
  • Conduct daily opening and closing of the counter.

JOB DETAIL
  • Nearest MRT: City Hall
  • 5 Days Work Week (inclusive of weekends/PH)
  • 9am to 7.30pm
  • Gross Up to $3600
  • 1-Year Contract, subject to renewal
JOB SCOPE
  • Develop, administer & maintain work roster
  • Maintain Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) accuracy
  • Workflow enhancement & improvement plans
  • Ensuring that staff are providing excellent customer service
  • Manpower deployment forecast & planning
  • Set goals for performance & deadlines
  • Manage a team of Executive, Supervisors & Ambassadors
  • Provide assistance and information to visitors
  • Perform sales transactions for gallery admission events & programs
  • Perform daily opening & closing of counter, including generating reconciling daily sales reports
  • Maintain knowledge of promotions & policies regarding payment, exchanges & security practices
  • Pre-print tickets for group visits & ensure sufficient ticketing management for schools
  • Manage feedback & perform service recovery in accordance to stipulated guidelines
JOB REQUIREMENT
  • Working experience in tourism / art institutions / customer service is preferred
  • Service-oriented and customer centricity
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and good teamwork
