About the Role

Our client, a well-established logistics and freight forwarding company, is seeking a Customer Service Executive to support their export operations team. The role involves coordination with customers, shipping lines, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate shipment handling for both sea and air freight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle and process customer bookings accurately and promptly.
  • Input and update export job references in the system.
  • Communicate with customers and shippers to confirm bookings and resolve shipment requirements.
  • Liaise with shipping lines, forwarders, and internal departments for space confirmation and cargo coordination (FCL/LCL).
  • Arrange trucking and cargo collection services as needed.
  • Update customers on shipment schedules, vessel changes, or delays.
  • Ensure cargoes are received in good condition; report discrepancies or damages promptly.
  • Verify vendor invoices and close job files upon completion.
  • Support other administrative or operational duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping customer service.
  • Familiar with sea and air export operations.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
